On June 20, 2024, the SCOR Foundation for Science hosted a webinar titled “AI, robot advising and supervision in insurance”, delivered by Astrid Bertrand, researcher. Astrid was a PhD student at Telecom Paris – Institut Polytechnique de Paris, and at the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR/Banque de France). 

Her thesis focuses on measuring the efficiency of current anti-money laundering (AML) systems and on the different explainability approaches for the use of AI in AML. She holds an Engineering degree from Centrale Lyon and an MSc in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC.
