In a new video, Arnaud Mignan discusses the SCOR Foundation’s Generic Multi-Risk (GenMR) project, which he leads with collaborators from the University of Lisbon.

GenMR gives us something we have never had before: a laboratory for catastrophe. Not to predict the next disaster, but to explore the full landscape of possibilities. To move from reacting to isolated hazards to understanding interconnected risk. Because the most damaging catastrophes are not single events. They are systems failing together. To prepare for them, we must think, and model, in systems too.
