On October 22, 2025, the SCOR Foundation for science held a webinar titled: “Quantitative Easing, Financial Institutions, and Financial Stability.” The webinar was delivered by Olivier Darmouni, Associate Professor of Finance at HEC Paris and holder of the Pierre Andurand Chair in Sustainability.

This webinar explored the long-term consequences on financial stability of the changes in monetary policy introduced by the quantitative easing strategies of the central banks since 2008. Olivier Darmouni discussed these consequences in detail, focusing in particular on the asset-liability management strategies of commercial banks and (re)insurance companies.
