On January 9, 2025, the SCOR Foundation for Science held a webinar titled “Geopolitical and Economic Risks at the Eve of the Trump Presidency.”

The webinar was delivered by Benoît d’Aboville, French diplomat and Associate Researcher at the Fondation Recherche Stratégique in Paris.

After posts in Washington and Moscow, Benoît d’Aboville was notably Ambassador of France in Prague and Warsaw, then permanent representative of France to NATO (2001-2005). A recognized expert in geopolitics, he has published numerous articles and studies in the journals Commentaire and Revue Défense Nationale, on NATO and the European Union, nuclear policies, and the legal and strategic issues surrounding strategic weapons.
