In 2017, the Academy’s special political economy section award went to Jean-Dominique Sénard for the transformation of Michelin’s management style under his leadership, to Pierre Giorgini for his book “La tentation d'Eugénie. L’humanité face à son destin”, Montrouge (Bayard), 2018, and to Yann Coatanlem for both his book “Le gouvernement des citoyens”, Paris (PUF), 2017, and the work of the Club Praxis, the think tank he chairs.
